For example, traveling from Tokyo to Osaka can take quite a long time, so we recommend you to use the train system. However, in the case of filming, it is often more convenient to use a vehicle because of the need to visit multiple sites and carry a large amount of filming equipment. For location scouting and smaller shoots, CueRio can use our own vehicles or rental cars. In this article, we will lay out the case where CueRio staff members drive and the case where we ask for our partner vehicle company in Tokyo.
Driving by CueRio staff
For location hunting or small shoots, it may be sufficient to have a CueRio staff member drive the car without ordering a driver. In this case, the driver's fee is not charged, but only the vehicle rental fee and other expenses such as petrol and highway tolls.If CueRio's vehicles are not available, or if you are shooting outside of the Tokyo area, CueRio will rent a car for you, and we will be your driver.
When using ANK, our partner vehicle company in Tokyo
For a certain scale of shoots, we recommend hiring a vehicle with a driver. For filming in the Tokyo area, we usually use the services of ANK, a vehicle company with which CueRio is affiliated. ANK is an experienced company that has worked with many Japanese TV stations and program production companies, and is not only known for its driving skills, but also for its knowledge of back roads and filming locations. In this article, CueRio introduced the vehicle arrangements when CueRio coordinates a filming, mainly when CueRio staff drives and when we ask ANK, our Tokyo-based partner company, to do the driving.
